    • Follow the school's policies and procedures for grading.
    • Maintain and sustain a strong local advisory group.
    • Recruit students for the Law - Public Policy career strand.
    • Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiating instruction based upon student learning styles.
    • Knowledge of legal curriculum and concepts.
    • Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
    • Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
    • Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
    • Ability to organize and coordinate work.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
    • Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
    • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
    • A Master's Degree or J.D in Law or a related field is preferred.
    • Ignite Law and Public Policy Teacher (0.5 FTE)

      Position Purpose
      Under the general supervision of the Ignite Principal, facilitate student success and growth in academic, technical and interpersonal skills through implementation of district approved curriculum; document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; address specific educational needs of individual students and create a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

      Essential Functions

      Additional Duties
      Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Ignite Principal and other Central Office Administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

      Arkansas Teaching License or Technical Permit required.

      Education
      • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
      • A Master's Degree or J.D in Law or a related field is preferred.

      Experience
      Successful work experience in the legal field is preferred.
