What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Human Resource department by integrating Payroll/Timekeeping data effectively
- Interpret, explain, and comply with negotiated contracts and relevant laws and regulations
- Research, analyze, and retrieve data to maintain complex payroll records and reports
- Reconcile discrepancies in payroll, benefit, retirement, and accounting systems
- Develop systems and processes for testing and implementing new payroll/timekeeping components
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, and/or Management with a minimum of 5 years of advanced payroll experience
- OR Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Management with a minimum of 7 years of advanced payroll experience
- OR HS Diploma/GED and a minimum of 9 years of advanced payroll experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Familiarity with payroll software and systems
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
