    • Coordinates and manages team activities and events such as field trips, parent conferences, and grade-level functions.
    • Facilitates interdisciplinary project (e.g. PBL) planning sessions with team members.
    • Requests and monitors the use of supplies and materials for the grade level team.
    • Conducts team meetings, including creating agendas and keeping meeting minutes, and sharing this information with the assigned administrator.
    • Facilitates grade level data cycles with team members and other school staff in data analysis activities.
    • Identifies needs related to the acquisition and use of instructional technologies.
    • Assists in planning, coordinating, and conducting testing.
    • Serves as a resource to substitute teachers.
    • Functions as the team's liaison with other service providers such as the literacy staff, special education resource personnel, ELL teachers, speech therapists, school counselors, and interpreters.
    • Provides strategies and implements programs/practices for improving student achievement, classroom organization and management, and overall school climate.
    • Serves as team-level point person for the EIP Process, in conjunction with the EIP school counselor.
    • Performs other leadership duties as assigned by the building administrator.
    • (No extra summer days because EIP Coordination & regularity of meetings)
    • Minimum of three years teaching experience preferred
    • Demonstrable evidence of significant student achievement results
    • Knowledge of team planning, cooperative learning, and/or interdisciplinary team teaching required
    • Experience in a relevant leadership role desirable
    • Working knowledge of data analysis principles, and of technologies used in instruction and assessment, and behavior modification.
    • Ability to work effectively with administration, teachers, parents, and students.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
