  Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to work in a 1:1 school setting.

  Here are some of our cases:

  • Case #1: 18 y.o. male in Islandia. Diagnosed with seizures

  • Case #2: 15 y.o. female in Nesconset. Diagnosed with epilepsy, feeding tube, developmental delay

  • Case #3: 7 y.o. female in Hempstead. Diagnosed with speech delay, gastro status and urinary continence

  Qualifications/Education:

  • At least 6 months of pediatric nursing experience

  • NYS LPN license and registration

  • BLS from American Heart Association

  • Physical, QuantiFERON within a year

  • MMR Titers within 10 years

  • Malpractice Insurance

  • NPI #

  
  Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 bus and school

  • Perform physical exams and health histories before making critical decisions.

  • Provide health promotion, counseling, and education

  • Administer medications and other personalized interventions

  • Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals

  • Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Must be able to stand/work for extended periods

  • Additional responsibilities as required

  Pay Rate:

  • LPN- $35/hour
