      Lower Merion School District is hiring a 12- Month Secretary (S12) for Black Rock Middle School Job Duties: Welcome visitors to the office Maintain all student records Process records of newly enrolled students Process and maintain all student transcripts Maintain students in the Naviance platform Process grade changes Conduct education verifications Assist with other office duties Requirements High school diploma or GED; one to three years experience and/or training preferred. Demonstrated ability to compose clear, concise and professional correspondence using proper format, grammar, spelling. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel required. Ability to use the internet to retrieve information or do research. A working knowledge of PowerSchool, PowerGrade and Naviance desirable. Strong ability to interact with teachers, students, administrators and parents. Specific duties include corresponding with institutions asking for records and verifications. Organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks are needed in the successful candidate. The individual in this position works with staff, students, parents and alumni and will need to possess a professional demeanor. Applicant may demonstrate competency on a computerized qualifying test. Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire). This is a 260-day position. Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary is $45,913 for the 2023-2024 school year.
