      Your new responsibilities

      • Perform photometry, life test and USCAR testing as required.
      • Has basic knowledge of electricity for safety purposes.
      • Work under limited supervision, following documented procedures as well as verbal work instructions.
      • Interacts with every level of associate in the plant.
      • Works closely with engineers regarding test requests, manufacturing trials or other special testing.
      • Is responsible for implementing testing procedures, accurate documentation of test results and notification of engineers when necessary or requested.
      • Performs GR&R studies and other checks and special tests as requested.
      • Responsible for minor equipment repairs on spheres, slam tester, etc.
      • Follows prioritized guidelines for making measurements and getting feedback to manufacturing.
      • Will be responsible for communicating by email and entering / editing data in the following databases: LIMES, Regent, Infinity.
      • Once proficient will be able to train new operators for full time or cross functional ability
      • Will be able to assist with lower grade jobs in the Quality department.
      • Will train to cross function as Process Monitor in manufacturing when working weekends or off-shifts.


      What we look for


      • High School graduate or equivalent required
      • 1-3 years of plant experience
      • Basic Computer Skills Required (Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel; Adobe Acrobat)
      • Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job
      • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and time oriented
      • Must work on weekends or off-shifts as required to support specific production lines or provide coverage
      • On occasion must be able to come in early or stay late to provide extra coverage if required
