Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking an Full-Time 1st Grade Teacher at Churchill Elementary for the 2025-2026 School Year
License Requirements: IL PEL(Professional Educator License) with an Elementary Education Endorsement
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills:
· Strong knowledge of elementary teaching methodology and child development
· Understanding and willingness to differentiate instruction, as needed, for multiple learning styles and ability levels
· Experience with a wide range of teaching, classroom management, and assessment strategies and the ability to apply these in the elementary classroom setting
· Willingness and ability to collaborate with classroom teachers on content area instruction and student needs
· Ability and commitment necessary to develop and continuously improve curriculum for elementary students
· Ability to communicate student progress to parents and to classroom teachers
