      Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

      Shift: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F & 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

      Pay: Based off experience $30-35.00 per hour starting

      Job Description

      We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The position is for the 1st shift & 2nd shift schedule. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of a range of $30-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform industrial maintenance tasks with a focus on mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
      • Working around machines including blending & mixing machines, filling and transferring machines, packaging equipment, and conveyers.
      • Read and interpret blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
      • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery.
      • Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues and implement solutions.

      Essential Skills

      • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
      • Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.
      • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
      • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly in low voltage circuits.
      • Knowledge of sensors, actuators, PLCs, robotics, and automation.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, Illinois.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
