- Assist senior maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting and cleaning machinery and equipment.
- Provide maintenance function Preventive, Predictive, Project & Reactive
- Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Support in conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist in repairing and replacing defective parts on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures while working with tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
- 5+ years in the mechanical maintenance field servicing a manufacturing environment
- Must be well versed in troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure, and equipment manuals.
- Previous industrial hydraulics, welding/fabricating, and electrical experience (PLC troubleshooting is a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude in regard to conveyors, shredders, granulators, air handling, and other industrial equipment is desired.
- May be required to have/obtain licenses to operate powered industrial trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or other types of equipment used to facilitate equipment repairs and accessibility.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
