Job Description

- Load flat cases into case erector
- Pull product from line and pack in case
- Inspect cartons for: Date Code, Leaking (turn upside down), Damage to gable top, Dirt or debris, Misprints
- Pack boxes with cartons all facing the same way
- Set aside cartons that do not meet quality standards
- Feed fully loaded case into glue sealer
- Stack finished cases on pallet using proper pallet configuration
- Inspect case for: Dirt or debris, Date code or message printing, Leaking cartons causing case to become wet
- Shrink wrap pallet and label with product type and do not double stack
- Rotate positions hourly (packing/stacking)
- Perform clean up per schedule
- Previous experience in a manufacturing role
- Forklift training desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Strong bias for action and results orientation
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly during an 8 -10 hour

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Packer position is a key manufacturing role reporting to the Production Supervisor. The job involves keeping pace with operation machinery to accurately and safely pack product cartons. This position involves machinery setup and changeover. Position requires the ability to adapt to a changing environment. Hard working, attention to quality and compliance with food manufacturing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
This position is 6am-6:30pm . Boxed Water operates on a 2-2-3 schedule.
