      Dixon Quick Coupling is seeking a 1st shift Production/CNC Machining Supervisor to lead our associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the CNC Machining department, production processes, maintaining product quality, and upholding safety standards. You will supervise manufacturing associates, ensure production schedules are maintained and ensure quality standards are met.

      Work Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

      Essential Functions:

      • Responsible for direct supervision, guidance, production, and quality of a team of machinists while upholding the Dixon Mission, Vision and Values and all corporate policies
      • Monitor production schedules to meet customer deadlines and maximize machine utilization
      • Provide guidance and training to employees on machining processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation

      • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in setup or programming when needed

      • Maintain a clean and organized shop floor aligned with 5S and lean manufacturing principles

      • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to optimize performance and reduce downtime
      • Promote a positive work environment
      • Establish staffing needs, job expectations and report progress/issues timely
      • Ensure employees have needed materials or equipment, tools and monitor/approve requests for time off
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback

      Competencies:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, machining, or related field preferred
      • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

      • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and operation of multi-axis machines (mills, lathes, etc.)

      • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tools, and equipment
      • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, blueprint reading, and GD&T
      • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
      • Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making under pressure
      • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within a manufacturing setting
      • Strong computer skills
      • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
      • Good time management and organization skills
      • Great communicator, team builder, and coach
