Job Description
- Req#: 20560
- Coordinate day-to-day workflow, training and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature environment; including temperatures at or below freezing
- Using WMS or other systems/reports, track and/or review productivity to ensure goals, deadlines and outputs are met in an accurate an efficient manner.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates (one on one or in a group setting) regarding performance and productivity.
- Conduct start-up meetings for the entire department as needed.
- Assist in updating and documenting process changes and training plans.
- Impact retention positively by fostering respectful team environment through professional communication, motivation and timely problem resolution.
- Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak performing manual labor as required.
- Adhere to all safety, security and SQF requirements.
- Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.
- Maintains reasonable and reliable attendance.
- Maintains professionalism, sincerity, and enthusiasm that reflects 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. commitment to Delivering Smiles.
- Ability to read and follow labels, processes and instructions.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in cold storage environment (-10° to 40°)
- Lift up to 30lbs continuously and 50lbs on occasion
- Walk and stand for entire shift (8-10 hours) and stoop, kneel, crawl and climb
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, management & employees).
- Previous warehouse management system and SAP knowledge preferred.
