      Cloud Engineer

      Job description

      We are looking for motivated individuals to develop, implement, optimize, code, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for developing, deploying and debugging cloud stacks and ensuring the reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure. This role provides opportunities to work across Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Server Consolidation.

      Successful candidates will be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our digital platforms and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. You should understand the nuances of different cloud solutions (hybrid, public, private, multi-cloud, on-prem) and implications for solution design. The Cloud Engineer will apply excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and must be a team player.

      Key responsibilities

      • Participate in Azure Cloud/Digital related business requirement discussions and design through SAFe Agile ceremonies

      • Perform Azure cloud work such as logical system design, cloud architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering

      • Implement and automate Azure services through DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

      • Design and implement application security for Azure cloud native solutions

      • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and data protection services in accordance with company security policies and best practices

      • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments and services

      • Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify optimal cloud solutions

      • Identify, analyze, and resolve vulnerabilities and deployment issues

      • Work and collaborate with managed-service providers to achieve optimum support and operations of the infrastructure environment

      Requirements:

      Preferred education / degrees

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Information Systems

      • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and classified as a senior or graduate student with anticipation of receiving a bachelor’s or master’s degree by July 2024; OR college graduates with less than two years’ experience since receiving a degree

      • Must provide a current, unofficial transcript with online resume (as proof of good academic standing) when applying for this position to be considered

      Experience

      • Ability to code/script to automate cloud services: C, C#, C++, .NET, VS.NET, ASP.NET, PowerShell, Shell Script, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Python, YAML

      • Experience with Ansible, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory

      • Experience with Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud technologies

      • Experience in: Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Alma Linux, and Ubuntu

      • Certification or experience in Agile or SAFe methodology

      Network Engineer

      Job description

      We are looking for highly motivated individuals to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain network-based solutions. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating network and security infrastructure. This role provides opportunities to provide connectivity across Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Cloud Computing, and On-premises datacenter server connectivity.

      To be successful, you should be able to identify the most optimal network solutions for our digital platforms and maintain network infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. You understand the nuances of different network solutions. (Enterprise and Industrial networks, private, wifi, firewalls, multi-cloud, on-prem) and implications for solution design. The Network Engineer will apply excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and must be a team player.

      Key responsibilities

      • Develop and implement solutions and processes to maintain the reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of network infrastructure components across the enterprise and associated process control environments.

      • Collaborate with product owners, development team, architects, business units and other stakeholders to deliver solutions via SAFe methodology.

      • Identify continuous improvement opportunities, create new or improved processes utilizing automation to support step changes in operational efficiencies.

      • Analyzes network infrastructure needs and designs solutions that meet business requirements for protection, standardization, efficiency, scalability, supportability, and cost-effectiveness.

      • Transitions developed solutions to operations, including delivery of educational and training programs, and continues to provide Level 3 support.

      • Follows standard change management processes and practices when introducing technical changes to the environment.

      • Promote best practices in the technical areas above to maximize enterprise value. Provide global guidance on standards and guardrails.

      • Participate in the development, testing, and validation of Network plan proposals.

      Requirements:

      Preferred education / degrees

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Information Systems or equivalent network infrastructure engineering experience

      Experience

      • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency to deliver results with beginning to intermediate networking concepts and infrastructure components:

      • Secure network design, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, access point and wireless LAN controllers, routers, Cisco SD (Software Defined) technologies. Palo Alto Firewall, VPN, and third-party connectivity configurations.

      • Network data gathering tools, traffic analysis, network concepts from layer 2 through 7 including NAT and application identification

      • Analysis of logs on the firewalls and Splunk

      • Routing and switching planning, design, and implementation

      • CCNA / CCNP Level Experience

      • Process Control Network / Operational Technology Network Segmentation experience
