Advise borrowers of coverage requirements and explain investor guidelines.
Correspond and partner with borrower to make appropriate adjustments to policies to ensure compliance.
Review renewal certificates and policies assessing compliance with investor guidelines.
Process insurance reimbursements.
Complete general administrative tasks as necessary, such as filing, data entry, mail distribution/ management, and supporting special projects.
Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travel.
Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or Risk Management preferred.
Exposure to commercial property insurance experience preferred.
Requires excellent communication skills, written and oral, through all levels of the organization.
Ability to work as a part of a team while providing a strong individual contribution.
Excellent attention to detail, judgment, flexibility and dependability.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude with large volume of work.
Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.

Walker & Dunlop’s 2024 Analyst Program provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to gain on the job training and receive exposure to the different areas of commercial real estate from true experts. Through the program, you will accelerate your personal development by building skills within key business areas, immersing themselves into W&D’s culture, and gaining exposure to all areas of the business and senior leadership. Throughout your first year you will have learning opportunities about various career paths through networking and speaker series while also providing additional resources to foster career growth. Analysts will develop core businesses skills and have access to a commercial real estate curriculum focusing on: underwriting, financial modelling, loan origination, transaction structuring and leadership development.
Those graduating in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 are eligible for the 2024 Analyst Program. Our 2024 Analyst program will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024.
Insurance Administrators can be located in Bethesda, MD, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Overland Park, KS.
