Your primary role will be to act as a liaison between Toyota/Lexus owners, prospective owners, dealerships, area offices and headquarters.
You will be expected to evaluate customer inquiries/concerns, (i.e. financial assistance, dealer sales, service or product related concerns), and determine the appropriate action to positively impact owner satisfaction and retention.
Our Toyota Customer Brand Engagement Center is one of the key departments that offers entry-level positions with tremendous opportunity to learn about our products and the inner workings of the company.
As an Intern, your overall mission is to “Build Lifetime Advocates for Toyota/Lexus”.
Your primary role will be in support of our Strategy and Planning Pillar which includes Innovation and Automation, Systems Planning, Voice of the Customer and Change Management.
The Strategy pillar work is in support of our Brand Engagement Center mission to Enhance the Guest/Dealer and Advocate experiences.
Follow the Toyota principle of continuous improvement and may take Kaizen introductory coursework
Observing and assessing processes to determine problem statement we are trying to solve for and then working with our Senior Kaizen Analyst, supporting the process with gather data, assessing data and provide analytical insights to interpret themes.
Analyzing data to collection actionable insights in the areas of our Guest, Advocate and Dealer experiences through collaboration with our Data and analytics team
Partner for support of our Consumer and Business Insights Senior Analyst project work on a variety of topics such as change management communications and Voice of the Customer survey data interpretation of trends.
Apply strategic, forward thinking and making connections between common themes which are negatively impacting our Guest, Advocate and Dealer experiences.
Identifying those areas of opportunity and support the team in creating plans which address these observations.
Support collecting stakeholder needs and provide information in a concise manner for leadership’s action to drive efficiencies, automation where possible and process improvements geared towards a simple Guest experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Toyota Customer Brand Engagement Center Internship Program provides college students with exposure to the automotive industry while working in a corporate environment at our Headquarters in Plano, Texas.
You will receive five weeks of comprehensive training on Toyota (possibly Lexus) vehicles, policies, products and services, communications, problem solving and negotiation, and customer satisfaction.
