      You are not expected to have an in depth understanding of the asset management industry, our traineeship is designed to offer this to you, together with an industry recognised professional qualification, training and learning opportunities. We will place you at core of our firm for 12 months, where you will build your product and industry knowledge gaining hands on experience working in one of the most respected financial institutions in the world.

      Our aspiration is that programme participants secure permanent roles at the firm following the conclusion of their traineeship and to date we are delighted to have offered roles to over 85% of our trainees.

      We’ll assign you a buddy, who will support you throughout the programme, as well as a mentor to help make connections across the firm, guide your career and provide you with experienced advice. Additionally, all of our trainees are part of the wider Investment20/20 trainee community providing you with opportunities to network with other trainees across the industry and participate in social and industry events.

      What You’ll Do

      We offer traineeship opportunities across many of our business areas, primarily in Client Services and Operations.

      Client Services manages the entire lifecycle of the client, from onboarding to day-to-day servicing. These activities include Client Reporting, Request For Proposal (RFP), Client Onboarding, Know Your Client/Distributor (KYC) and direct relationship managing and servicing of Institutional, Retail and Global Liquidity clients.

      In summary, Client Service strives to be the team that runs to the fire and gets things done.

      Operations supports the implementation of the investment process and the lifecycle of a trade. Processes supported include guideline management, cash management, performance measurement and trade support.

      Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on which team you join. Responsibilities can include any of the following:

      1. Executing day to day responsibilities in line with department procedures.
      2. Support and take ownership of process-oriented responsibilities for the team.
      3. Take ownership of key tasks and take responsibility for ensuring projects are completed to a high standard.
      4. Support and partner with the team for other service-related matters and adhoc requests

      While your day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on your team, you’ll make a meaningful contribution to our business from the beginning. Supporting your team with key strategic and business initiatives will give the successful candidates unique exposure to our key global stakeholders and partners as well as insights into our business and clients.

      Program Period

      September 2024 – September 2025

      Successful trainees should be eligible to start on a permanent basis following completion of the programme in September 2025.
