Responsibilities

OPERATIONS

The core function of Global Operations is to deliver maximum value to Ford Motor Company through a primary focus on driving efficiency of process, technology, data & analytics, and strategy.

Interns will have the opportunity to learn about real estate operations and how to develop, execute and manage a holistic strategy. They will also form an understanding of how to communicate progress and articulate value with all levels within the leadership organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sophomore+ class standing with a focus in Business/Finance/Economics/Mathematics
• An ability to collaborate across teams, with multiple stakeholders.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (to be confirmed prior to internship)
• This internship is designed to be Remote/Dearborn based.
  

PORTFOLIO

Intern will support development of strategy for the Ford Land portfolio. This role will partner with the Ford Land leadership team on development or portfolio strategy and project activity.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute in the following ways:

• Collaborate with the Engineering, Architectural, Project Management, Planning, Energy and Technology Global teams and Information Technology to participate in design reviews of new construction projects, renovations, and capital infrastructure programs.
• Provide considered input to these teams that help remove roadblocks to engineering implementation.
• Participate with internal CSA reviews providing input and evaluation of existing building MEP.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sophomore+ class standing with a focus in Real Estate/Finance/Accounting
• Experience with modeling software systems Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.
• An ability to collaborate across teams, with multiple stakeholders.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (to be confirmed prior to internship)
• This internship is designed to be Dearborn based, with occasional flexibility for hybrid.

DESIGN

Intern will join the Ford Branded Environments team to complete a dedicated project over one summer in partnership with the design leaders.

The design team is responsible for the research, design and deployment of brand immersed collateral impacting the built environment. Topics may include sustainability and performance and impact of well-centered design.

Minimum Requirements:

• Sophomore+ class standing with a focus in Design Research/Architecture/Interior Design/Building Performance/Building Pathology
• An ability to collaborate across teams, with multiple stakeholders.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (to be confirmed prior to internship)
• This internship is designed to be Remote/Dearborn based.
