      The Manufacturing Human Resource Generalist Accelerated Development Program is designed as a 9–12-month assignment to assist the manufacturing site HR Manager with day-to-day tasks and special projects. The program participant manages their own projects to assist the team in achieving goals.

      The HR Generalist ADP is “hosted” by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities.

      Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Must have a bachelor’s degree by the time of this development program
      • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
      • Must be at least 18 years of age
      • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
      • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point
      • Must be willing to relocate for this position AND upon completion of the program

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology or related field
      • Have a previous Co-Op/Internship experience within Sherwin Williams
      • Have a previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field
      • Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.?

      Responsibilities

      Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the HR Manager with:

      • Maintenance of personnel and/or training records
      • Provide assistance with job postings and maintaining applicant tracking records.
      • Assisting with employee recruiting and hiring activities
      • Presentations
      • Administration and coordination of new employee orientation programs
      • Responses to employee inquiries and questions
      • Maintain knowledge of general stare and federal employment compliance requirements
      • Manage employee data and training records with HRIS
      • Special projects as identified by the HR Manager
