      JOB SUMMARY

      Intern, Strategic Projects, will have an opportunity to understand and learn the fundamentals of end-to-end Customer Service including operational and system-based processes. The US Customer Service team, NA Supply Chain, supports several business units and over 150 NDCs, including but not limited to the following activities: trade/commercial sales, free good/compassionate product programs, logistics and distribution, SOX controls and compliance oversight, products returns, master data, exports, and customer-facing support/call center activities.

      This role will have responsibilities defined by the Department Head and work directly with Leadership team on ensuring deliverables are met and project planning is realistic based on factors such as competing projects, capacity, business needs, etc.

      This role of Intern, Strategic Projects, will support, manage, and maintain the planning of assigned project(s) based on department strategy and/or global initiative. Works with cross-functional teams for connecting the dots on and integration of business needs, department capabilities, and process optimization and efficiency. Oversees deliverables on a daily basis by meeting with key stakeholders together to discuss initiatives, projects, metrics, and process improvement opportunities. Accountable for documenting project updates overseeing due dates and deliverables. Escalates to Management when there is risk of not meeting requirements. Deliver regular consolidated updates/reporting to key project stakeholders.

      Intern will have regular weekly (or as needed) touchpoints with Department Head and Leadership team members to discuss progress on assigned project deliverables.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

      Project Activities:

      • Training/shadowing as defined to understand core processes

      • Serve as focal for applicable project deliverables

      • Attend new product launch meetings and S&OP for end to end Supply Chain understanding

      • Participate in analytics & metrics review, provide suggestions/solutions re: process improvements

      • Develop, maintain, store project tracker as well as all relevant meeting notes

      • Tracks relevant project key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identifies issues and proposals to achieve the project plan.

      • Supports creation of credible executive summary presentations to Supply Chain management, identifying performance to plan as well as SWOT analysis and recommendations/solutions to project challenges.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      • Only students who are members of the INROADS Program are eligible

      • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, preferably in fields related to Science or Engineering

      • Good analysis and presentation skills

      • Has an inquisitive and curious mindset

      • Has an interest in Supply Chain and Customer Care

      • Good communicator and collaborator
