      This position is for an intern who will be entering their sophomore year or higher by the start of summer 2024.

      Job Summary:
      Finance is a strategic business partner throughout the organization, creating value by aligning with the businesses to provide substantive insight for improved decision making. We partner at all levels of the company, serving as proactive team members that support and advise while being accountable to both internal and external customers.

      Summer Interns will receive a top-level view of Raytheon Finance. Participants will be assigned to a Product Line Finance area or Finance Functional area and will be involved in directly supporting a program or function. Interns will also be given a number of special assignments such as development of financial models for decision support as well as, improvement/maximization of Finance related process and tools and preparation of both an individual and group projects to be out briefed to Finance Leadership. Through these activities, the Intern will gain an understanding of the financials of the business. Focus on top level understanding of Raytheon Products, Customers, tools, and processes in the Finance organization with “on-the-job” training in areas ranging from:

      -Financial Planning & Analysis
      -Accounting
      -Overhead Rates & Budgets
      -Program/Contract Business Management
      -Pricing/Proposal Development
      -Cash Management
      -Business Process Management

      This position can be an internship based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:

      • (Sophomore Administrative Intern) - must have completed 30 credit hours by start of internship.
      • (Junior Administrative Intern) - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship.
      • (Senior Administrative Intern) - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship.
      • (Post-Graduate Administrative Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Basic Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.


      Basic Qualifications:

      • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Management, or another related field.
      • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
      • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
      • Cumulative GPA 3.5 or higher desired
      • Previous internship experience in a related field
      • Experience leading a team project.

      • Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
      • Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
