United Wholesale Mortgage’s Master's of Technology Summer Internship Program offers you 13-weeks of an unmatchable experience working alongside one of UWM’s many different industry-leading Technology Teams. Here, you’ll utilize your skillsets to develop and further enhance our technologies that are built, in-house, by UWM team members. Our technology allows our clients to succeed with industry-first applications, tools, and support.

Over the summer, you’ll play an important role on a team that compliments your background and get direct mentorship from Senior Leadership. We’ll provide you with countless opportunities to create long-lasting relationships and work on impactful projects that help move the business forward. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Master's of Technology Summer Team Member, you can expect to:

• Gain experience in C#, React, Kafka, Vue.JS, Swift Java & more!
• Work alongside our team of Data Scientists, Architectures, Principal Engineers, & Project Managers
• Work on a summer-long project/application where you collaborate with other Master's of Technology Summer Team Members
• Have different opportunities to show off your skill-set while gaining hands-on application experience
• Develop and present ideas to senior leadership
• Collaborate with other Master's of Technology Summer Team Members and Leadership
• Be an important player on your day-to-day team
• Participate in fun on-campus team building activities

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

• Graduating in 2023 or 2024 with your Masters of Technology Degree
• The ability to work full-time, 40-hours a week from May through August, on-campus in Pontiac, Michigan
• Having a 'yes' mentality
• View projects as 'if there's a will, there's a way'
• An openness to learning, willingness to be coached and ability to be flexible in an ever-changing industry
• The desire to thrive in a team environment
• Strong week ethic
• The drive to succeed
