The Operations Analyst Program (OAP) Insights Programs are designed to attract undergraduates who are interested in early exposure to financial services careers and committed to the advancement of individuals from underrepresented groups in this industry. The OAP Insights Programs, is seeking undergraduate students, including, without limitation, Black, Hispanic & Latino, and/or students who identify as a woman, who are interested in exploring career opportunities at JPMorgan Chase. We are looking for dynamic individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to help us grow and position our businesses for the future. All undergraduate students who are interested in the OAP Insights Programs, regardless of background, are welcome to apply.
The Operations Analyst Program (OAP) Insights Programs are virtual events with business specific overviews and networking, followed by interviews. Participants will be provided with an introduction to financial services and the firm. They will be exposed to our senior leaders and have an opportunity to learn about our businesses, build professional development skills, and gain insight into how their diverse backgrounds and perspectives as financial services professionals might positively impact the future of people’s lives, the firm and our industry.

What to Expect
The goal of our program is to prepare you to interview for our 2024 Operations Analyst Program – Summer Analyst Opportunity. As part of the event, we will offer a variety of components from education about affinity groups, to geographic and program overviews, along with networking opportunities with senior leaders, and advice on the interview process from our Early Careers recruitment team.
Operations Summer Analyst Program
Operations is at the heart of running the firm efficiently, effectively, and delivering value for our clients. You will play an integral role as a part of the Operations function to deliver solutions while growing business-specific expertise.
Operations is embedded in every business to support the firm’s functions and handle the end-to-end process management of all core production and client-servicing activities across each business. You’ll join an Operations team within one of our lines of business or corporate functions to help manage our processes and services while growing business-specific expertise.
In the program you will work in a collaborative environment that teaches you how the Operations function helps deliver core services to the firm and its clients. The goal is to assist you in building a long-term career in our Operations division and help with its continued growth.
What to Expect
Our 9-week program starts with comprehensive training to introduce you to our firm, our practices and our culture. After training, you will join the Operations function within one of our lines of business (Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, or Corporate & Investment Bank) or Corporate Functions to be fully ingrained within the team’s day-to-day activities and make a clear impact for the organization and our clients. Your responsibilities will vary based on your location and team assignment. The program will give you the opportunity to learn about our Operations and develop your career.
You will gain hands-on exposure to our operations function from day 1 ranging from loan servicing, client account processing and documentation, to employee operations. While driving your core responsibilities, you will be growing your bank product expertise and looking for ways to innovate within the space. You could analyze reference data to help support trading, provide data analysis and reporting to Risk Management, work with Technology teams to optimize processes, etc.
You will develop skills that will help you grow within the Operations organization and make increasing impact throughout the program. In addition to on-the-job experience, you will have a community of other summer analysts, opportunity to attend social events, interact with senior leaders, learn new skills and more.
This role is a pipeline to our full time Operations Analyst Program. Upon successful completion of the 9-week internship, you may receive an offer of full-time employment.

About You
To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. You should be able to work within deadlines and be able to adapt to changing environments.
Additionally, we are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who is analytical, has good communication skills and works well on a team. You will be interacting with a diverse set of internal / external stakeholders and should be excited to solve problems. You should be a good listener and be able to ask probing questions to ensure understanding of requirements and needs of clients; while working towards delivery timelines.
