      Citi is looking for the next generation of practitioners to help drive its large-scale, multi-year Agile Transformation. The Product Owner is the CEO of the product who is responsible to drive the product vision. Product owners need to understand the “why?” behind the product development,” who is it for?” and “what value?” does the product create for the business. Product Owners take the strategic and tactical decisions for the final product. A product owner is empowered to take the product decision and need to be available for the team to clarify the requirements.

      Your time here will look something like this...

      You will participate in two rotations during your time on programme to give you a breath of experience across the team. Assignments change each year based on the business needs of the teams, but below are some previous examples:

      • Work with our Senior Product Owners to drive the product vision, developing the product functional design process to create the product roadmap
      • Work in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities, risks and dependencies
      • Create features and functionalities which enable the achievement of business goals by collaborating with stakeholders
      • Create and own the product backlog prioritising features which maximise business value, whilst also facilitating backlog decomposition sessions with technology teams to clearly define acceptance criteria for user stories
      • Partner with the technology team to break down large stories based on estimation
      • Participate in the testing /review sessions and provide support for release
      • Track and report product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment
      • Create strong feedback loops with stakeholders to incorporate in the backlog to achieve the desired outcomes

      We want to hear from you if...

      • Studying a STEM degree and interested in pursuing a career in Technology management
      • You will have or will be graduating by 2024 as the programme starts in the Summer 2024
      • You have obtained or are on course to achieve a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level
