      About the Program:

      The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We’re hiring a class of 35 - 45 to begin on May 1, 2024 starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development.       Program Expectations:

      • Must be able to start May 1, 2024 and attend full duration of the 8-week program
      • Must be off active duty no later than April 30, 2024. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible)

      Program Required Qualifications:

      • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
      • Service in any branch of the United States military
      • Able to work on the first day of the program, May 1, 2024

      In these roles you will:

      The Operations Group has the following opportunity within Chief Operation Office (COO) :

      Senior Securities Operations Representative (Available locations: St. Louis, MO )

      The Senior Securities Operations Representative ( S SOR) will support the Wealth & Investment Management business, specifically Cash Sweep Money Funds (CSMF) and Cash Sweep Money M arket (MMKT) . Th ese department s perform a variety of operational tasks for cash sweep trade requests that requires extensive knowledge of the sub parameters to understand the availability of funds for each account. The group s work closely with Product, Mutual Fund Companies, Conversions team, and Financial Advisors/Branch personnel.

      Multiple roles are available and team responsibilities may slightly differ, but will include the following highlights:

      • P rocess asset movement service requests for Outgoing Fed wires, Multi-Currency Wires, Automated Clearing House (ACH) on demand transfers, Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTC) / partial Account Automated Transfers (ACT) and Internal Journals

      • Sp eak directly with clients to verify Fed Wire instructions

      • R eview various systems and documents to confirm the validity and accuracy of the transfer and the availability of assets in the client’s accounts to accommodate the transfer request

      • I dentify any problems with a transaction and working with the requestor to remedy the issue providing strong customer service as part of their role

      • P rovide ideas for improving or implementing processes

      • P erform moderately complex duties related to asset movement

      • P rovide training or guidance to less experienced staff

      • P articipate in projects, collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers

      • R eceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

      • A ct as the primary resource for critical production or escalation issues

      • Q uality control and review on mutual fund trade processes, review and approve instructions

      • R esolv e escalated issues and inquiries and a ddress procedural impacts

      • Rev iew , track and monitor re ports and w ork list queues for items requiring action and ensur e service levels are met

      • Ensure customer satisfaction by f ollow ing up on high-level customer requests / problems and recognize / escalate items of risk or concern

      • Work closely with the Team Lead and Process Manager updating policy and procedures, creating efficiencies and process improvements for the department

      • Provide management level reporting including service quality, volume tracking, and/or staff performance

      • Provide back-up for all department functions and address scheduling issues

      • L ead and/or participate in production improvement efforts

      • May address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department

      • M ay have extensive customer contact

      Desired Qualifications :

      • 2+ years experience in one or combination of the following: Customer S ervice, Operations, Financial Services, Accounting or Business processing

      • Emphasis in customer service via call center, operations and accounting experience

      • Experience with Microsoft O ffice , specifically Word, Excel and Power Point

      • Experience in the brokerage or financial services industry

      • Knowledge of or experience with the Brokerage Electronic Transaction Automation ( B ETA ) system

      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

      • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

      • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

      • Understanding of or w illing to learn Corporate Risk

      Job Expectations:

      • Employees are expected to meet the in-office expectations for their role

      • Ability to work flexible and additional hours as needed

      Pay Range :

      St. Louis, MO: $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly
