What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work on projects related to energy and power markets, greenhouse gas inventories, and climate change communication
- Perform quantitative problem-solving and data analysis
- Review literature, conduct research, and synthesize findings into reports
- Translate technical climate science into layman's terms
- Provide logistical support for meetings and events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program with an anticipated graduation after August 2024
- Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Climate Science, etc.
- Completed environmental coursework or demonstrable knowledge in this area
- Proven ability to collaborate and excellent time management skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Data Science, Economics, Public Policy, or Business Administration
- Experience in climate change resilience and mitigation projects
