      Position Summary...

      What you'll do...

      The Internship

      Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2024 for students graduating between December 2024 and August 2025. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Data Ventures. Work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills at the Fortune 1 as you explore Northwest Arkansas at our HQ!

      About Data Ventures:

      The Walmart Data Ventures team exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, were seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.

      Responsibilities:

      • Partnering with business and product stakeholders to solve challenging business problems and identify trends and opportunities

      • Identifying and monitoring security profiling and providing solutions to product, account, and customers

      • Identifying new levers to help improve key financial data insights, understanding root causes for change in metrics

      • Conducting exploratory data analysis including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program.
      • Expected graduation date between December 2024-August 2025
      • 0-2 years of full-time relevant experience
