Nationwide Opportunities The Chicago Sales Associate Intern Program reflects national field-based roles across the US, as well as a Chicago-based Sales rotational program that supports PepsiCo’s warehouse-delivered brands. The Quaker/Gatorade Warehouse Sales Associate Intern Program is a 10-week internship opportunity in Chicago, IL to work on either the Gatorade or Quaker businesses, completing projects designed for you to gain critical experiences in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry warehouse businesses. Responsibilities What you can expect: Own and solve an individual business challenge with real impact to the business and your team Learn the PepsiCo selling foundation: use fact-based selling skills and deliver win-win solutions for both the retailer/consumer and PepsiCo Use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to produce a solution that would enable PepsiCo to grow volume & revenue to achieve key metrics Successfully interact with peers and key stakeholders to understand the situation, and game plan potential solutions to the assigned problem Use your analytical skills to collect, chart, and interpret statistical data; decipher key data points to highlight and leverage as part of your solution/recommendation Prepare and present a final presentation to your team, manager, and peers summarizing your internship experience, problem to solve, and recommended solution Collaborate with fellow interns on a group project to demonstrate your teamwork and creativity in your “Shark Tank” pitch to Senior Leadership Recent intern projects have included: As part of our summer internship program, we aim to provide an experience designed for you to gain functional knowledge of sales and an opportunity to achieve results through the completion of a real-world sales-based project. Previous Projects as examples: Developing a selling strategy for Gatorade Equipment to enter grocery store retailers Developing a tool that analyzes effectiveness of different promotion structures/price points to determine which had the highest return for the investment, etc Qualifications What we’re looking for: Self-starting individuals who possess the passion and drive to win Resilience and adaptability to solve problems Ability to discern priorities and remain organized as business needs evolve Strong work ethic and heightened sense of urgency to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off- campus). The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our 2024 campus intern openings is $20.50 - $39.60/hour Role, degree discipline, degree level, and location are part of the process when determining actual starting salary for positions Hourly pay for our campus hires is pre-determined and non-negotiable We love to convert our interns to full time opportunities!
