Depending on the specific scope for the internship, the responsibilities will include tapping into your creative, analytical and leadership qualities to create, coordinate, manage and deliver high-quality work in one or more of the following business aspects:
Systems and process analysis and recommendations
Microbiology studies
GMP documentation creation, including standard operating procedures, etc.
Training material development
Process improvements and process waste elimination
Web based material creation
People interfacing processes and programs development
Project management
Intensive 12 weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer) (With potential for extension depending on the role and focal area.)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Final presentations of project work to senior leaders.
Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives.
Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions.
Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities.
Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
- Must have attained a Bachelor's DegreeApplicable Majors - Science-based (e.g. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc.)
A technical base of knowledge derived from college experiences thus far, with academic accomplishments and a grade point average that demonstrate the ability to learn, apply knowledge and successfully complete course requirements.
Mindsets and behaviors that visibly demonstrate integrity and honesty through independent work and team collaboration, with a focus on shared accountability, ownership and diversity, that foster our culture and show respect, inclusion and belonging for others.
Critical thinking skills to receive and process information, connect and build on new and innovative ideas, perform research, create and manage plans, recommend processes and deliver the requirements of the internship.
Communication abilities that will enable clear written and verbal exchange of information, brainstorming and idea sharing.
Collective building of thoughts, healthy debate of concepts, ideas and approaches, create awareness, understanding, alignment and synergy for the responsibilities assigned.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of California is $26.00 - $32.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
