      The mission of Advanced Technology Programs (AT) is to be the affordable source of new, unparalleled capabilities to our warfighters and civil authorities by:

      • Applying your academic knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.

      • Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads.

      Our Advanced Technology Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors Program Area is looking for a dynamic intern to join their team! This is a full-time position from May-August. The intern will support both existing Contract Research and Development programs and business opportunities, as well as other regular business activities including operational performance, sales, and cost reduction. Opportunities exist to learn and help support finance, supply chain, human resources, marketing, and business management tasks using our industry-leading tools and processes.

      The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. Additionally, the candidate should possess an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to complement their academic experience.

      This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

      Responsibilities to Anticipate:

      • Applying your academic knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team.

      • Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads.

      This position can be a Sophomore Administrative Intern or Junior Administrative Intern or Senior Administrative Intern or Post Graduate Administrative Intern based on the candidate's classification as determined by grad year on resume and provided via questionnaire by candidate as outlined below:

      • (Freshman Administrative Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

      • (Sophomore Administrative Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

      • (Junior Administrative Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

      • (Senior Administrative Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

      • (Post-Graduate Administrative Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or a closely related field.

      • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.

      • Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools

      • Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience.

      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

      • Demonstrated effectiveness in working in teams.

      • Results-oriented with good problem-solving skills

      • Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

      • Hybrid : Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

      • Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

      Clearance Information:

      This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.       The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
