Conduct a comprehensive wall-to-wall inventory of all IT assets within the company's infrastructure, including hardware, and peripherals
Collect and maintain an accurate asset management system to track the lifecycle, location of all DT assets. Ensure that all assets are properly documented and updated regularly. Store the inventory in the organization's designated repositories.
Work closely with the End-User Services team to understand asset requirements and provide support in asset allocation and retrieval as needed.
Create process documentation for maintaining asset record accuracy after initial wall-to-wall inventory is completed.
Collaborate with the Services and DT teams to create a comprehensive project plan for inventory management and organization. Execute the plan efficiently to meet inventory and organization criteria.
Innovation and Automation: We welcome and encourage ideas, creativity, and suggestions for streamlining and automating the asset management process. Proactively seek ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous note-taking abilities during inventory audits, ensuring accurate records of asset details, including serial numbers, etc.
Presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Prior experience with asset management tools or systems is a plus

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to kick-start your career in Digital Technology (DT)? Join our dynamic IT team at RTX Research Center as an Asset Management Intern and play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our DT assets.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field. 3.5 or higher GPA is desired. Please submit a copy of your academic transcripts with your application.Work Authorization Required

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
