On-the-job experience: Working independently as well as part of a high-performing team while having an end-to-end ownership of a distinct deliverable that has a direct impact on business and/or enterprise. You will begin to build a robust consulting toolkit including qualitative and quantitative analytical skillset, storytelling, visualization and interpersonal communication skills by actively participating in your team’s day-today activities.
Professional support: You will be matched with a peer “buddy” who will help you navigate and enjoy our internship as well as answer your day-to-day questions. Additionally, a senior mentor will help you navigate through challenging situations, and give you feedback throughout the course of the summer.
A speaker series (virtual and/or in-person): Wells Fargo’s top leaders provide insight into how to make the most of your summer experience, share their career paths, tips and advice, while also sharing trends in the financial and functional spaces they serve.
Organization networking activities: We promote community involvement and networking with other summer interns and full-time analysts. You will have the opportunity to create lasting professional relationships, build your network, and take advantage of a diverse and rapidly growing workforce.
Develop presentations and other documents for senior management independently and in partnership with team members.
Identify, gather and analyze appropriate data and develop initial insights that inform strategic recommendations.
Build relationships with team members and functional partners while seeking feedback, creating alignment, and proactively addressing risks.
Conduct competitive assessments, customer and industry research, and/or financial analysis as an input to understanding Wells Fargo’s relative market position.
Evaluate strategic options and develop recommendations for lines of business or enterprise-wide projects, in partnership with team members and functional partners.
Develop roadmaps to guide execution/implementation (as appropriate) of strategic priorities.
Prioritize work, attentional to detail, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity
Strategic, “outside the box” thinking and the ability and interest to quickly and effectively ramp up on unfamiliar topics.
Proactive, intellectually curious and interested in financial services, strategy and fintech

6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2024 – June 2025
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement
Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or experience in identifying, collecting and strategically analyzing data, helping drive insights and developing strategic recommendations.
BA/BS degree candidate with major concentration in one of the following fields: Business, Marketing, Finance or other related major. All majors are welcome.

Strategy teams work across the company’s lines of business and enterprise functions to set a strategic direction and set of prioritized initiatives to deliver an integrated regional bank at scale to the individuals, small and medium sized companies, large companies and institutions we serve. As a Strategy Program Intern Analyst, you will support a specific business line’s Strategy & Innovation team or the Corporate Strategic Planning & Management team.
Following the Strategy internship, successful candidates will have the opportunity to join the team full-time as part of SDI’s Strategy Rotational Program (SRP), where you will have an opportunity to continue learning while completing multiple rotations on our strategy teams.
