  How you will contribute:

  • Learn how to apply broad FDA advertising and promotion concepts related to commercial communications and activities for marketed pharmaceutical products.
  • Conducts in-depth regulatory research and analysis to assist Ad Promo Regulatory team members in evaluating promotional strategies.
  • Develops broad understanding of responsibilities for key functions involved in or that impact Ad Promo, including Medical, Legal, Marketing, Compliance, Labeling and Regulatory Strategy.
  • May present regulatory topics at Ad Promo Regulatory staff meetings and to cross-functional teams (e.g., FDA enforcement letters).
  • Assists with US Medical Ad Promo Regulatory projects as assigned.
  • Supports other Ad Promo Regulatory team members as assigned, including evaluating metrics to measure and track the effectiveness and efficiency of the promotional review process

  Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Currently authorized to work in the US (United States) without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 12 weeks during the summer months.
  • Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies. Pursuing an undergrad degree in life sciences or equivalent, pre-law with interest in FDA Law, business with focus on Marketing. Pursuing an advanced degree in Life Sciences, PharmD, Regulatory Affairs (Degree or Certification), JD, MBA.
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Takeda.

  The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
