As an intern, you’ll work on real projects that deliver tangible benefits and measurable results. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about and help to solve some of the most important issues we face. You will experience genuine teamwork, and work alongside highly qualified and experienced colleagues, while you work on live projects and operations. At the end of your internship, you will present your summer project to our staff.

      Responsibilities

      • Work with Gas and Power Traders, Originators and Schedulers to assist with their day-to-day functional needs.

      • Interface with middle and back office to troubleshoot issues daily.

      • Book & validate all trades executed by both Power and Gas desks.

      • Daily balancing of physical commodities strategies

      • Maintain and enhance internal controls around trading portfolios.

      Qualifications:

      • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any US employer

      • Active student studying finance, economics, mathematics or similar.

      • Solid math computation skills

      • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think on the fly in a fast paced environment

      • Challenge the status quo and continuously drive improvement and innovation

      • Must be available for a continuous 12 week period for duration of summer internship

      • Sophomores & Juniors encouraged to apply
