The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The intern will offer added value to our company's Animal Health Value Chain and Consumer Affairs team, providing support and coordination activities around Livestock Agriculture data solutions and technologies that support our business and our customers businesses. The intern will interact and build networks with various stakeholders in the Livestock protein supply chain including multi-stakeholder associations and groups, producers , packers , retailers and foodservice to gain first-hand account management experience. An interest in animal health is critical , however experience is not required . Other areas of expertise managed by the Value Chain and Consumer Affairs t eam include but are not limited to animal health and welfare, sustainability, animal traceability, biotechnology, precision livestock agriculture, and animal monitoring . The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the Value Chain and Consumer Affairs team on a diverse array of livestock agriculture projects and priorities that add value to the business including:

• Participate in and report out summaries of various stakeholder and key account meetings

• Support and coordinate internal collaboration around data solutions across multiple teams

• Develop and execute communication plans for engaging with stakeholders on traceability and transparency

• Identify stakeholders and provide key account management support

• Ensure clear, concise, and timely communication with the Value Chain and Consumer Affairs team and the business on project updates

• You will be required to rent a car. As part of this position requirements, you will have to be legally authorized to rent a car in the state in which you reside/work in

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Education and Skills

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in any bachelor’s or graduate degree program
• Candidate must have completed at least 2 years of college course work by May 2024
• Candidates must be able to commit to full-time employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning May/June 2024
• Candidate must have excellent interpersonal/communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Candidate must possess general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidate must have the ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and as part of a team
• Candidate must demonstrate high ethical standards
• Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher highly preferred

• Candidate should have interest in Livestock Agriculture

• Candidate s hould have interest in animal health Livestock data analysis and technology

Other Information:

• This internship will offer flexible work arrangements depending on the needs of the team and/or the candidate .

• This role will require travel to company locations and/or customer and stakeholder events.
