- Curriculum Delivery: Execute lesson plans left by the regular teacher, adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students, and ensure that instructional objectives are met.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a structured and engaging learning environment, uphold school discipline guidelines, and foster a safe and respectful classroom culture.
- Communication: Serve as a reliable point of contact for teachers, administrators, and students on your campus, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication regarding classroom activities.
- Professional Development: Participate in training and development sessions to stay current with educational practices and district policies.
- Special Assignments: Assist with testing, special events, and other campus-specific activities as needed.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide feedback on classroom experiences and student engagements to regular teachers and administration to support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid North Dakota Substitute License.
- Proven experience as a substitute teacher or regular teacher.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and respond to varying classroom environments.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital instructional resources.
- Previous experience as a subsititue teacher with Fargo Public Schools.

Job Type Full time Benefits Eligibility Benefits Eligible Schedule 9-months Monday through Friday approx. 7:30 am to 3:00 pm CST Salary Range $249.44, based on Substitute Salary Schedule
Position Purpose: Campus-Based Substitute Teachers at Fargo Public Schools will be placed full time at the designated campus. This position is an integral part of the campus’s educational community, dedicated to maintaining a stable and enriching learning environment. This role requires a commitment to be available during school hours to cover any teacher absences, support special school functions, and assist in emergencies or extended leaves. The ideal candidate will be familiar with our district's curriculum, possess strong classroom management skills, and be prepared to foster a positive and consistent learning environment.
Responsibilities:
