      Montgomery County School's, Virginia is accepting applications for a Network Support Analyst that is available within the division for the 2025-2026 school year.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      The Network Support Analyst oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization’s network systems to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing connectivity. This position is instrumental in managing both hardware and software components of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), resolving network-related issues, and supporting overall IT infrastructure. The Network Support Analyst plays a key role in enabling seamless communication, access to digital resources, and operational continuity across the organization.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
      • 3+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role preferred
      • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and equipment (Cisco, Aruba, etc.).
      • Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
      • Familiarity with cloud-based systems (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365).
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a distributed environment.

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred
      • Experience with educational technology systems (SIS, LMS platforms).
      • Knowledge of VoIP, video conferencing, and classroom tech integration.
      • Familiarity with K-12 school operations and technology use in education.
      • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
      • Ability to explain tech concepts to non-technical staff with patience and clarity
      • Experience with Aruba Central and Aruba Clearpass

      FLSA: Exempt

      SALARY: $50,108.49 - $97,750.15 annually, with benefits; commensurate with experience (current salary scale may change due to 2025-2026 budget considerations)
