      Title: Special Education Teacher – Resource Program

      Start Date: August 4, 2025

      Licensing Required: Indiana Teaching License – Mild Intervention (or the equivalent) at the K-5 level. Transition to Teaching candidates will be considered with demonstrated steps toward an IDOE approved program.
      Details: Our resource program supports students with disabilities within the school building. Students access classes with their general education peers throughout the day, as appropriate. Students may also receive direct instruction from the special education resource teacher in the resource room. Resource teachers work with a team of instructional assistants, general education teachers, other special education staff, building staff, and parents to design an engaging, appropriately challenging, and inclusive learning environment within the building.
