- ?Sports: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Wrestling, Boys Wrestling, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Cheer/Pep Squad
- Levels: 7th grade & 8th grade
- ?Sports: Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball
- High School Coach Stipend: Based upon position, sport, and level.
- High School Athletic Salary Schedule information listed on page 3 of the Certificated Salary Schedule
- Middle School Coach Stipend: $2,050
- Demonstrated knowledge, competence, experience and past success or skill in the sport or related sport
- Two seasons of previous coaching experience at high school or higher level (Varsity)
- One seasons of previous coaching experience at high school or higher level (Assistant)
- Valid California driver’s license
- DOJ and FBI background clearance
- External candidates: All interested outside applicants (not a current employee with Lucia Mar) must complete an online application via Frontline as an external candidate and include a letter of interest, resume related to sport experience, and one (1) current signed letter of recommendation or character reference. Candidates who may also need to drive students in a personal or district vehicle must also complete the Driver Registration Form online and submit a DMV Pull Notice, prior to transporting of students.
- Internal certificated candidates: All interested current certificated teachers, contracted with Lucia Mar can complete the Certificated Teacher Interest Form.
- Internal classified and/or certificated/classified substitutes: All interested internal classified and substitutes, must complete an online application via Frontline as an internal candidate and select at the beginning of the application “yes, I am currently an employee of the Lucia Mar Unified School District.” Include a letter of interest and resume related to sport experience. .
- Volunteer candidates: All interested candidates applying to serve as a volunteer coach must complete the LMUSD Volunteer Registration registration form online. Volunteer coaches driving must also complete this same form online.
- Driver candidates: Candidates who may also need to transport students in a personal or district vehicle must also complete the Driver Registration Form online and submit a DMV Pull Notice, prior to transporting students.

Middle School Coach (Mesa Middle School, Paulding Middle School, Judkins Middle School)
