      2025 Charles Schwab Investor Services Internship

      Specialized Teams for Advice & Relationships:

      The Specialized Teams for Advice & Relationships (STAR) helps clients achieve their financial goals through wealth management. The STAR Intern role will be critical to helping achieve our modern wealth management offers while driving scale and making it easy for our clients to do business with Schwab. Within STAR, we support financial wellness through customer support, financial planning, and investor education.

      Fundamentally, we believe all investors should have access to advice and financial planning without compromise and without the high cost typically associated with these services. We help clients achieve their financial goals through proactive wealth management solutions built upon a financial plan and utilizing a strategic investment methodology. With a focus on inspiring client loyalty and a commitment to employee engagement through career development, we support clients and employees in reaching their goals.

      • STAR Employee Branch Intern - working with Employee Branch (Westlake, TX)
      • STAR Financial Solutions Branch Intern - working with two lines of business (Financial Solutions Branch Pooled and Dedicated Teams) (Westlake, TX; Phoenix (PEAK), AZ
      • STAR Wealth Services Team Intern - working with Wealth Services (SPWS) (Westlake, TX)
      • STAR Active Trader Intern - working with Schwab’s most active trader households (Westlake, TX)

      These Specialized Teams for Advice and Relationships will look to enhance opportunities in scale, process, and overall employee-client experience.

      Retail Acquisition & Development (RAD):

      National Branch Network Intern – RAD seeks an Intern who will gain exposure and experience working in a Schwab Branch to further explore a career as a Financial Consultant and fulfill an early accomplishment in the financial services industry with paid Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) study time and exam.

      Locations: Indianapolis, IN; Westlake, TX

      Trader Solutions Intern – RAD seeks an intern who will partner with the team to assist with various client situations and needs. They will also work closely with leadership to assist on projects that impact the ease of doing business for our Trading Consultants and Engagement Managers so they can better service our clients. They will also get an opportunity to learn more about trader sales within the branch network and potential career paths available to them at Schwab through networking and collaborating with other departments and fulfill an early accomplishment in the financial services industry with paid Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) study time and exam.

      Locations: Omaha, NE; Phoenix (PEAK), AZ; Westlake, TX; Lone Tree, CO

      Required Qualifications:

      • Currently enrolled and have completed a minimum of two years of college-level education towards a related Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and targeting graduation between December 2025 through May/June 2026
      • Ability to work full time and be at on-site Schwab campus during the 9-week program (June 9 to August 8, 2025)
      • Strong desire to explore a career at Schwab as a Financial Consultant by joining our Financial Consultant Academy post-graduation
      • A desire to learn about the Financial Services Industry and Wealth Management and to help clients succeed
      • Ability and desire to network and build relationships

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to improve processes
      • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills, especially with clients and in cross-functional teams
      • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
      • Proven work ethic with a high level of integrity to build trust with our team and internal partners
      • Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment
      • Excellent understanding of the benefits of financial planning
