OverviewThe Discover Covenant employee demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that their attitude and actions are all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. The Discover Covenant employee will learn new skills and gain experience in several departments at Covenant HealthCare.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Demonstrates excellent customer service.
Maintains confidentiality.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and ability to work accurately.
Explores and participates in assigned skills related to field.
Gains knowledge, skills, and experience through rotations in a variety of Covenant departments.
Learn about the industry standards and regulations.
Assists staff with duties as needed.
Adheres to professional standards of organization.
Attends scheduled shifts and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma/within 3 months or graduating or GED required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues and material.
Ability to multi-task.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to maintain punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Frequent twisting, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing.
Frequent depth perception and near, midrange, far and color vision.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, squatting.
