- Support the Microwave Automated Factory (an ISO Class 8 clean room environment) in high-volume, high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, material, and product problems.
- Support assembly processes involving automated epoxy component attachment and Radiofrequency (RF) Assembly.
- Work hand-in-hand with product engineers, quality engineers, reliability engineers, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing.
- Develop and implement materials, processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Evaluate materials, equipment and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- This role is for a day shift (start time range: 6 AM - 9 AM) with potential for 9/80 schedule for 9 days over 2 weeks)
- Involves spending 8+ hours per day in a clean room environment, following clean room and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
- Preferred majors are Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT), microelectronics, and/or automated assembly equipment.
- Process development and qualification experience.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC), statistical data analysis experience, Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques.
- Technical writing experience for operator instructions, process and/or material qualification reports, equipment vendor statement of works, etc.
- Experience with problem solving using data-driven approaches.
- Experience with technical writing, presentations, and communicating with cross-functional teams or experience levels.
- This role is onsite at our McKinney, TX facility.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Job Summary
Our multi-disciplined Process Engineering team performs hands-on problem solving in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are subject matter experts for processes and materials in a cleanroom environment which focuses on radiofrequency (RF) microelectronic packaging and surface mount technology. This hands-on role confronts new projects and challenges every day and requires cross-functional collaboration in both cutting-edge automation and mature production processes. We develop and implement materials and process improvements to our factory, while providing production support using a variety of analytical techniques, including statistical process control, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. We perform the evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
We are specifically seeking candidates who are hands-on, proactive, accountable, good communicators, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, experienced in automated manufacturing, and ready to solve unique problems daily.
