Conduct due diligence on private equity and private credit funds and/or managers and engage professionally with senior leaders in the industry.
Take quantitative and qualitative inputs to form independent views, opinions and recommendations on private market managers and companies.
Drive research/due diligence, prepare analysis and deliver insights.
Facilitate client meetings and site visits.
Draft investment memos.
In year 2, perform company-level work including valuation, financial statement, and industry analysis.
Train others.
Undergraduate or Master's students graduating between September 2024 through June 2025.
Demonstrated interest in the Investment Industry through internships, academic and/or extra-curricular pursuits.
Leadership experience.
Examples of being a self-starter with a drive to excel.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to grasp new concepts.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an interest in financial modeling.
Excellent communication skills with a proficiency in the English Language.
Ability to work effectively within a team.

The Opportunity
Our Analyst Development Program provides a two-year opportunit y to gain Private Markets experience, training, and mentorship within Hamilton Lane’s Investment Division . It is a n opportunity to work on an investment team directly out of university without prior Wall Street experience.At the inception of the two-year program, you will begin with an orientation, which will provide education on Hamilton Lane and the private markets investment industry and related technical skills. After orientation, you will focus on Fund Investment Due Diligence and client-specific analysis, while continuing to receive training and development opportunities. In the second year, you will also gain exposure to work on our transaction Teams (Co-Investments, Direct Equity, Direct Credit, and Secondaries)
As the two-year program concludes , you will have the opportunity to consider and be considered for opportunities at Hamilton Lane and continue your career growth.
