- A valid BC Class 5 driver's license is considered an asset
- Are currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program within one of the following disciplines:
- Engineering, Business, Administration, Environmental Sciences, Information Technology/Computer Programming or similar program.
- Live in the beautiful District of Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace).
- Depending on the role, have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions, that can include rain, hot weather, cool or dusty days
- Successful completion of a Site Access Alcohol & Drug Test
- Are willing to comply with LNGC’s drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Work a 40-hour week: 8 hrs/5 days per week. Some flexibility may be required.
- Work placements will begin in May 2024 for approximately 4 months; however, we are open to students enrolled in Co-Operative Education Programs where student availability may differ (e.g. 4, 8, 12-month terms).
- Know that this is not a fly-in, fly-out rotation role.

About the Role
LNG Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students to join our team in Kitimat, BC. Our 2025 student experience summer program will begin in May for a duration of 4 months, or we are open to students enrolled in Co-Operative Education Programs where student availability may differ (e.g. 4, 8, 12-month terms). We have potential opportunities within our Engineering, IMIT/Digital, HSSE, Finance/Business teams.
In our student experience program, you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to gain hands on experience in the commissioning & start-up of an LNG mega project. You will be able to take the skills you are currently learning in school, put them into practice and develop yourself to support professional growth.
