Understanding and executing the due diligence process
Supporting deal teams with structuring, underwriting, and closing equity and debt investments across diverse industries
Building and updating integrated financial models
Understanding industry research, trends, and drivers
Gaining exposure to investment recommendations and preparing investment committee memos
Assessing relative value among debt investments and making investment recommendations based on these views
Interfacing with portfolio companies, management teams, third party diligence providers, and other external partners
Analysis of data room presentation of results such as company financials, key performance metrics and other credit documents
Have an understanding or k nowledge of Credit
Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on Infrastructure l imited partnership interests and their underlying company investments
Evaluate new investment opportunities by conducting due diligence, researching industries and comparable companies, interviewing fund sponsors, and preparing financial models as part of an underwriting team
Prepare presentations for investors, firm partners, and counter-parties
Utilize proprietary tools to evaluate investment manager performance to assist Landmark’s investment team and strategic LPs with their investment decisions
Have an understanding or k nowledge of Infrastructure
Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on leveraged buyout, venture capital, and other private equity and infrastructure transactions
Evaluate new investment opportunities by conducting due diligence, researching industries and comparable companies, interviewing fund sponsors, and preparing financial models as part of an underwriting team
Prepare presentations for investors, firm partners, and counter-parties
Utilize proprietary tools to evaluate investment manager performance to assist Landmark’s investment team and strategic LPs with their investment decisions
Have an understanding or k nowledge of Private Equit y
Assist with developing underwriting assumptions through market data collection and analysis
Work with transaction team on analysis of investments using various valuation techniques including discounted cash flows, comparable property analysis, replacement cost analysis and precedent transaction analysis
Assist with pre- and post-offer due diligence
Assist in the accumulation, organization, and analysis of materials during active due diligence
Prepare market research
Assist in the documentation of investment analysis including investment memoranda
Prepare market research on general partner sponsors and on holders of private real estate investments.
Accumulate and manage incoming data on the secondary market.
Generate updated projections for specific investments during the ownership period subsequent to acquisition.
Assist with other portfolio management needs related to existing investments
Have an understanding or knowledge of Real Estate
A general understanding of Finance
S trong financial analysis, writing , communication and presentation skills
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
Initiative and a strong entrepreneurial mindset
The ability to research solutions and be a problem solver
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
The ability to work both independently and as a productive member of transaction teams
Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in Finance or Economics
Have an anticipated graduation date between December 202 5 and August 202 6

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking Secondaries Summer Analyst s to join our dynamic tea m . Qualified candidates will be invited to interview for a Secondaries Summer Analyst position within one of the following groups: Credit Secondaries, Infrastructure Secondaries, Private Equity Secondaries, and Real Estate Secondaries . Summer Analysts will be responsible for a variety of both investment and research responsibilities as described further below. Ares seeks to fill its Summer Analyst class with a broad mix of candidates coming from a variety of backgrounds (including finance, economics, mathematics, data analysis, and other fields).
The Firm has an extensive training program for new hires, to ensure that all summer analysts are provided a well-rounded introduction to the field and are taught the skills & understandings needed to succeed, regardless of their academic background.
