      Position Summary

      This intern position will be responsible for all legal and compliance task including but not limited to contracts, litigation, labor and employment.

      Role and Responsibilities

      • Perform a wide variety of legal tasks as directed by the General Counsel of SEHA in areas including but not limited to contracts, litigation, labor & employment, construction, real estate, economic development, and compliance
      • Assist the General Counsel with public affairs, government relations, philanthropy, volunteerism, community service and speaking engagements
      • Project management and performance of daily, weekly, and long-term tasks in furtherance of completing various legal & compliance projects
      • Prepare correspondence in connection with a wide variety of legal matters
      • Collaborate cross-functionally across the Samsung organization on a wide variety of matters including but not limited to legal & compliance, public relations, government relations

      Skills and Qualifications

      • Education: Must be a rising/junior or rising/senior pursuing a four-year degree in Legal, Compliance, Criminal Justice or related degree.

      • Experience: Prior work and/or internship experience in a law field is ideal, but not required

      • Knowledge: Must have coursework in law studies, and/or a related law/legal field

      • Skills: Microsoft Office

      • Physical requirement: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
