      Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Research & Development Intern to take part in our 2024 Summer Internship program.

      Research & Development Interns can expect to:

      • Assist engineers with routine tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting; test equipment setup; and product testing and reporting. Projects may include the following:
      • Analyze data from dimensional measurement equipment for profile extrusion.
      • Set up color measurement equipment for use in quality control.
      • Assist with product testing for building code requirements, including internal testing and testing at third-party labs.
      • Assist with first-article inspection of supplied components.

      Requirements:

      Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program and must have successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
