Job Description
- Req#: 64270
- Must have worked a WSOP event between 2018-2024. May not require an audition. Please list previous WSOP events dealt in application.
- Have a minimum of six months full-time or one-year part-time verifiable recent experience as a poker dealer in a licensed poker facility. And can demonstrate the ability to competently deal and run:
- No Limit Hold’em
- Dealer level NLH ONLY
- All other poker games
- Dealer level ALL GAMES
- No Limit Hold’em
- Has successfully completed a poker learning program in a recognized Dealing school and can show proof of such. And can demonstrate the ability to competently deal and run:
- No Limit Hold’em
- Dealer level NLH ONLY
- All other poker games
- Dealer level ALL GAMES
- No Limit Hold’em
- Can demonstrate the ability to competently deal and run poker games (games established by audition)
- Must be a team player with a friendly outgoing personality and good customer service skills.
- Presents a neat, professional appearance and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
- Uses good math skills to calculate pots and to take required rakes quickly and correctly.
- Speaks and understands English.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of applying.
- The attached questionnaire is part of the application process. It must be completed for the candidate to be considered.
- All candidates without verified previous experience with the WSOP or specific approval from management, must successfully pass a WSOP Dealer's Audition
- WSOP Dealer’s audition consists of an examination of game knowledge, mechanical skills, and English language comprehension.
- Candidates must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License as part of pre-employment requirements.
- Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in ambient temperatures both cool and warm.
- Must be able to maneuver to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around tables in their assigned Pit during entire shift.
- Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast pace environment.
- Responds to visual and aural cues. Must be able to memorize game rules and procedures.
- Those who meet the minimum criteria may be contacted by a member of the WSOP staff and invited to schedule an audition.
- The submission of an application is NOT a guarantee of an audition for or a position at the WSOP.
- Candidates are responsible for providing their own transportation and for any necessary lodging. No expenses incurred will be reimbursed by Caesars Entertainment or WSOP for interviews, auditions or employment.
ABOUT THE WORLD SERIES OF POKER
The WSOP is poker's longest-running tournament in the world, dating back to 1970. The tournament recently completed its 55th edition, which set a new attendance record for its Main Event® with a whopping 10,112 entrants, shattering the previous record of 2023 which was 10,043. The tournament returned to the Las Vegas Strip in 2022 after spending several years at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and returned to its original location, the Horseshoe Las Vegas in 2022.
The 2025 WSOP runs from May 27th until July 16th
Dealers MUST attend an Orientation session prior to dealing the event
Qualifications:
