      Job Description:

      At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. As an intern, you will experience Regions’ values while receiving job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry

      • Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings

      • Provides assistance in projects

      • Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career

      • Responsibilities will vary by internship

      This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

      Requirements

      • A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience

      • Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks

      • Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The Internal Audit Internship is open to current college students pursuing a B.S degree or concentration in an applicable field including, but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and/or Management Information Systems.

      • Financial Crimes, BSA/AML, & Treasury Management

      • Information Security, Digital Banking, & Technology

      Primary Responsibilities:

      Under the supervision of experienced auditors, the Internal Audit Intern will:

      • Assist in the implementation, execution, and maintenance of an effective risk based audit program, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

      • Perform internal audit fieldwork in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing under the supervision of experienced auditors.

      • Create workpapers that meet the audit evidence requirements.

      • Interact with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units and provides recommendations on how to ensure and maintain an audit ready environment.

      Additional Requirements

      • Current undergraduate or graduate college student with an expected graduation between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028 pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree or concentration in an applicable field including, but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and/or Management Information Systems.
