Assemble, fabricate, and install honeycomb, adhesive bonded, and composite assemblies following blueprints and engineering orders.
Layup composite materials, apply parting agents, perform bagging and vacuum blanketing, and prepare components for cleaning, masking, and coating.
Operate drying ovens, mix sealants and adhesives, to create aircraft components. Manage material storages and replenish empty spaces.
Utilize specialized machine attachments, overhead cranes, and computer-based data systems.
Ensure accurate documentation, possibly participate in voluntary Kaizen events, and maintain good shop practices.
HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of manufacturing experience is required .
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required .

Apply a thorough knowledge of aircraft assembly, adhesive bonding and composite assembly practices, specifications and procedures, and chemical processing practices and procedures.
Read, interpret, and obtain information from blueprints, planning sheets, standard work sheets, sketches, loft boards, ECA's, MRB dispositions, specifications, and other authorized documents.
Set-up and operate different types of painting equipment, sealing equipment, identifying equipment, resistance welding machines.
Apply thorough knowledge of production control, material control, tool control, routing and parts handling methods and procedures.
Apply a thorough knowledge of shipping, receiving, preserving, packing crating, storing packaging, issuing of materials, parts, and tools, etc.
Apply a thorough knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

As an Assembler , you will perform the fabrication, processing, lay-up, assembling, mating, and bonding of complex honeycomb, adhesive bonded, thermoplastics, and/or composite sub-assemblies/assemblies & surface treatment and cleaning of metal by various chemical processes.
Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM – Standard Monday – Friday, Weekend Hours are O ver-time.

The salary range for this role is $21.63 - $48.05 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
