Job Description
- Req#: 486868
- Make or assemble appropriate packing boxes and inserts that insure the item(s) to be shipped are secure for shipment to the customer.
- Place product or item(s) in a container using appropriate packing materials to insure that item(s) are not subject to breakage/damage during transit from the distribution facility to customers’ designated place of delivery.
- Visually inspect items for damage, and cleanliness and compare items to order.
- Include appropriate mailers prior to sealing the package.
- Work normally performed is to pack items weighing less than or up to 10 lbs. in each container.
- Packer will meet productivity standards set for this level.
- Packs, stocks, and cleans work area.
- Duties will include, but not limit employee to tasks described.
- Other appropriate tasks will be assigned as the Business Climate necessitates.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and customer order information to be able to accurately complete the job duties required to satisfy the successful shipment of the customer’s order.
- Must have High School Diploma/GED.

*Starting Early November this individual must be willing to work the 2nd shift with flexible start times between 2 PM-5 PM and ending at 8 PM-10 PM (occasional weekend coverage).*
